World's Richest Man race seems extremely competitive in recent months. Class A shares of Berkshire Hathaway soared 25% between the middle of July and the day we priced our list. The stock hit an all-time high of $150,000 a share in December. At that time, Buffett was worth roughly about $65 billion.

For the record, Berkshire Hathaway shares closed at $137,100 per share on Tuesday, down 2% since the announcement last Friday that the company's net earnings fell 18% in the fourth quarter of last year.That was really amazing.

At the same time,Gates' fortune also swelled massively last fall. Microsoft shares jumped 30% between late October and early November to $37 a share, only to fall after the company announced its intentions to buy Yahoo! for $45 billion on Feb. 1.

Berkshire is invested in insurance (GEICO, General Re), jewelry (Borsheim's), utilities (MidAmerican Energy Holdings and food (Dairy Queen, See's Candies). It also has non-controlling stakes in Anheuser-Busch , Coca-Cola (nyse: KO - news - people ) and Wells Fargo (nyse: WFC - news - people ). Recently, the company disclosed it owns a significant stake in Kraft Foods.
The company also purchased a 60% stake in the Pritzker family's manufacturing and services group, Marmon Holdings, for $4.5 billion. The privately held Marmon owns businesses across wire and cable, transportation services and industrial products.

"You can point any kind of laser at my face, but I don't think Botox is for me," the 30 Rock star, 39, says in the November issue of Harper's Bazaar (on newsstands Oct. 20). "I think it is bad."

Fey -- who has a scar on the left side of her face after a stranger violently cut her cheek when she was kid -- adds that people who have "too much" Botox "look like their faces are full of candles -- a shiny, shiny face. Festive. A holiday candle."

Still, the comedienne is conscientious about her looks.

Sometimes, on the set of 30 Rock she orders the cameramen to "frame me from the waist up."

"If there is a shot that is bad, I can take it out," she adds. "That is why L.A. is so bad, because they can take your picture from any side. That is why people in L.A. maintain 360-degree fitness. I don't have that kind of time."

A typical day for Fey (who has a daughter, Alice, 4, with her husband, composer Jeff Richmond)?

"Work, come home, play, kid bounce, work again, go to bed," she says.

Lately, though, Fey says she has been making time for "shopping."

Says the Saturday Night Live alum, "I am no longer the least stylish woman in the room."

As for her trademark specs, "I don't wear them very much in real life because I need them to see only far away," she says. "And I don't wear them when I am dressed up, because then I would look like Tootsie."

She posted a photo of her enjoying a dinner with pals, including BFF Cacee Cobb.

"Morocco fun!!" Simpson Twittered. "I love the girls!!! XOXOXO"

Fans wrote her that she seemed like she was "having a good time," and Simpson thanked them, writing: "You keep me inspired."

So far, Simpson and her entourage have traveled to Japan, Thailand, Brazil and Uganda (where she sat in a "fattening hut" with a young bride-to-be) to shoot her reality show, which debuts in 2010.

Her father Joe told over the weekend, "The greatest thing in the world is to be on this adventure with her."

Conan O'Brien found out the hard way that physical comedy is harder than it looks.

The Tonight Show host, 46, reportedly suffered a concussion after hitting his head while filming a stunt for the show on Friday with Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher.

The bit involving Hatcher, whose episode was canceled and replaced with a rerun, poked fun at her recent participation in a triathlon.

"We did this bit and at the very end, when we ran in to cross the finish line, he slipped as he was crossing the finish line and hit his head," Hatcher tells Entertainment Tonight of O'Brien's accident.

"He didn't get off floor right a way, but then he [seemed] like he recovered and [pulled] it together, and they did an instant replay, and you could really see his head hit the floor," the actress said. "He did go to hospital and he does have a concussion."

The NBC network confirmed O'Brien was taken to a local hospital for observation, but did not elaborate on his current condition.

In a statement, O'Brien, who took over the late-night staple from Jay Leno in June, used his trademark humor to reflect on the incident.

"Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice" O'Brien said in the statement.

There is no word yet from NBC about plans for future Tonight Show episodes.
